Starting in the Fall of 2024, Newman University will be partnering with Seward County Community College to bring the students of Liberal and the surrounding areas a one of a kind opportunity to achieve their higher academic goals while staying HERE, close to home.
This premier educational program offers new graduates the chance to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business, agribusiness, teaching or nursing through Seward County Community College. Students will be able to stay close to home and experience the cost-savings benefits of this revolutionary university program.
Once students have completed their associates degree, they will be seamlessly transitioned into a student of Newman University where they can complete the remainder of their bachelor’s degree. All of this is done through the Seward County Community College campus, affording students to convenience of remaining local while achieving their educational goals. Attend for as little $750 per year.

Established in 1969 with only 331 students, Seward County Community College has grown to more than 2,000 on-campus and online students. It’s also become a symbol of Southwest Kansas determination and skill.
